「36題愛上你」的節目主軸，是藉由36個提問，讓觀眾更瞭解來賓的過往和內心世界，進而決定是否愛上他們；而前二季的企劃方式，是將來賓們在網路上的過往資料轉化成問題，用已知的提問方式來進行節目內容，來賓們在訪談過程中，透過回憶過往來陳述故事，同時也進行說明解釋、誤會澄清、甚至是反省檢討；觀眾藉由來賓們的回答內容，更進一步瞭解來賓，並決定是否會對其形象改觀。 但是，人工爬梳資料難免有所遺漏不夠全面，也少了科技工具對過往的行為進行分析，連帶可能使得訪談的提問有所偏頗，讓來賓形象失真。 而本季節目將以「愛的足跡」為名，計劃與大數據公司「網路溫度計」進行合作，以科技的方式，將來賓們過往在網路上「公開的足跡」，也就是與其相關的訊息與新聞，進行系統化的搜尋整理；之後，再透過節目語言有效的分類轉譯，將得到的資料撰寫成題目，成為節目的提問內容；如此較為精準的提問，勢必也能精準的打中來賓的內心，讓來賓卸下心防而願意坦承吐實，訪談之後其形象也將不會失真，更能夠變得立體。 最終，觀眾愛上的對象也將更趨近於真實，不會愛錯了人。
